Doug Boyle

Here's a great shot of Doug taken by the photographer Frank Melfi. This was captured in the US during the Now & Zen tour of 1988. The screen behind Doug is actually a wheel consisting of different segments that could rotate at different speeds and stop in different positions, and film and images were projected onto it from the lighting desk. It looked great but as the tour wore on and it wore out bits used to fall off and hit me on the head as it was spinning.
