This is the lovely Ludwig Super Classic kit I rented in from Drumhire and set up in my Studio for the Sony PSP TV commercials, complete with a Ludwig 400 snare and DW hardware. I used my lovely Zildjian cymbals. I also rented in a matched pair of Neumann U47s from Gearbox that sounded absolutely wonderful without too much messing around with positioning.

I've just noticed that I keep using the word lovely today. I'll stop now and make an effort not to use that particular word too much in future.

Anyway, this old Ludwig kit has a real smack to it and an incredibly powerful kick drum. Great fun to play. Quite lovely in fact.
